Terms of Use
Effective date: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wisparent, including our website, account features, weekly parenting guides, email communications, and related services.
By creating an account or using Wisparent, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
1. Who provides Wisparent
Wisparent is operated by Wisparent, LLC.

Email: [email protected]
Postal address:

2. Eligibility
Wisparent is intended for adults.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create and manage a Wisparent account.
By providing information about a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to provide that information and use it for the purposes of the service.
Wisparent is not intended for children to create accounts directly.
3. The Wisparent service
Wisparent provides educational parenting information and weekly guides that may be personalized using information such as:
- your child's date of birth;
- developmental week or age;
- your guide-language choice;
- other profile information you choose to provide.
Features, formats, frequency, and availability may change over time.
We may improve, modify, replace, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
4. Not medical advice
Wisparent provides general educational and parenting information.
Wisparent is not:
- a medical service;
- a healthcare provider;
- a diagnosis service;
- emergency care;
- a substitute for a pediatrician, physician, nurse, psychologist, therapist, or other qualified professional.
Parenting and child-development information can vary by child and circumstance.
You should use your own judgment and seek advice from an appropriate qualified professional when you have questions or concerns about your child's health, development, safety, feeding, sleep, behavior, or wellbeing.
If you believe a child may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or healthcare provider immediately.
5. Your account
You agree to provide accurate information and to update information when reasonably necessary for the service to function correctly.
You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account and devices used to access Wisparent.
You must not allow another person to use Wisparent in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Notify us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
6. Child information and guide matching
Wisparent may use the child's date of birth to calculate developmental age or week and to select a corresponding guide.
The calculated week and resulting guide are informational tools. They are not a clinical assessment of development.
You are responsible for providing an accurate date of birth and for reviewing the information in light of your own child's circumstances.
7. Guide language and site language
Wisparent may offer different languages for the website and for weekly guides.
The language used to display the website does not necessarily determine the language of a weekly guide.
Guide-language availability depends on the content and delivery options currently supported by Wisparent.
8. Email communications
By requesting a Wisparent account and weekly guide, you authorize us to send emails necessary to provide the requested service, including:
- account verification and authentication;
- account and security notices;
- weekly parenting guides;
- service-related notices.
Marketing communications are separate and are sent only where permitted by your choices and applicable law.
You may unsubscribe from weekly guide or marketing emails using the available unsubscribe mechanism.
Certain essential service, legal, security, and account communications may still be sent while your account remains active.
9. Free and paid services
Wisparent may offer free features and may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other services.
If a paid service is offered, the applicable price, billing terms, renewal terms, and any additional purchase conditions will be presented before you complete the purchase.
Nothing in these Terms authorizes Wisparent to charge you without the required purchase or billing authorization.
10. Acceptable use
You may use Wisparent only for lawful personal purposes.
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- interfere with security or service operation;
- bypass access controls or technical restrictions;
- introduce malicious code;
- scrape or systematically extract content in violation of applicable law or these Terms;
- use Wisparent to infringe another person's rights;
- misrepresent your identity or authorization;
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
We may take reasonable action to protect Wisparent and its users from misuse.
11. Intellectual property
Wisparent and its original content, design, branding, software, guides, graphics, and related materials are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use Wisparent for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, license, publish, create derivative commercial products from, or commercially exploit Wisparent content except where permitted by law or with our written permission.
12. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about Wisparent, you permit us to use that feedback to improve the service without obligation to compensate you.
This does not transfer ownership of personal information or materials that are otherwise protected by applicable law.
13. Third-party services
Wisparent relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers for functions such as hosting, network security, email delivery, and abuse prevention.
Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that are not controlled by Wisparent.
14. Availability and changes
We work to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Wisparent will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device or circumstance.
We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, correct errors, or temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary for security or operation.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wisparent is provided on an "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- every guide will apply to every child;
- developmental information will describe every child's individual progress;
- content will be complete or appropriate for every circumstance;
- the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wisparent and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss arising from use of or inability to use the service where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable.
Wisparent's parenting information is educational. You remain responsible for decisions concerning your child's care and for seeking qualified professional advice when appropriate.
Any limitation in this section applies only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Wisparent at any time.
Where account-deletion functionality is available, you may request deletion subject to records we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other lawful purposes.
We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary because of:
- material violation of these Terms;
- unlawful or abusive activity;
- a security threat;
- fraud or attempted fraud;
- legal or regulatory requirements;
- conduct that materially threatens Wisparent, its systems, or other users.
Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice.
18. Privacy
Our processing of personal information is described in the Wisparent Privacy Notice.
The Privacy Notice forms an important part of understanding how Wisparent operates but does not reduce any privacy rights provided by applicable law.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, our business, or applicable laws change.
We will post revised Terms with an updated effective date.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing law and mandatory consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Wisparent operator as specified in the production legal configuration, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply under the law of their country or region.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
22. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with any additional terms presented for a specific paid service or feature, form the agreement governing your use of Wisparent.
Mandatory rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.
